The Cyprus Experience

The Cyprus Experience

BorderPlus Language Seminars offer a unique learning experience which combines perfectly with holidays in Limassol, one of Europe's finest tourist resorts.  Lying in the crossroads of three continents (Africa, Asia and Europe), Cyprus is known as the birthplace of Aphrodite, the ancient goddess of love and beauty. It is a stunning Mediterranean island with abundant sunshine throughout the year, which allows the visitor to enjoy its beautiful sandy beaches, its breathtaking mountains and countryside, and its fascinating history and culture.

Offering something for everyone, Cyprus attracts visitors from all over the world, regardless of age, budget, or interests.  From swimming to mountain climbing, snorkeling to cycling and many more, every season entails rich and challenging adventures for the visitor to experience.

The Limassol Experience

Limassol, BorderPlus’ center of operations, is the second largest city of Cyprus and the ideal location to combine teaching with learning, business with pleasure, and training with hands-on experience.

Being the island’s chief sea port and international business center, Limassol is a rich multicultural hub of people who have chosen to live their lives to the fullest. Rich in historical and archeological sites that testify to the city’s cultural heritage while at the same time renowned for its lively and cosmopolitan nightlife, Limassol offers its visitor an unforgettable experience which will feed not only the mind but also the soul.

As the largest coastal resort in Cyprus, Limassol has a great deal of attractions to offer its visitor. From sightseeing to sunbathing, shopping to clubbing, the city has something for everyone.

Limassol’s guests and visitors can engage into a sophisticated cultural and historical tour around the ancient monuments of Amathounda, the ancient city of Kourion or the castle of Kolossi.  Additionally, they can stroll around the Old City or Molos (Limassol’s sea front area), visit the new Marina and the old port, or walk around the traditional shopping center of Agios Andreas street.

Alternatively, guests can enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating day at the beach, or engage in any of the numerous water activities available, such as scuba diving, jet skiing and para-gliding.

Of course, the “Limassol experience” could never be complete without a night in town, combined with Cypriot delicacies and dancing in one of the city’s beach bars and clubs.
